Martha Children's Hospital is a professional healthcare provision facility that specializes in all of the leading pediatric fields, such as infant cardiology, immunodeficiency, and childhood hepatology. We are an established hospital and specialist caregivers various important fields.

Our Philosophy

Our friendly approach is centered on putting the needs of the patient first and to understand that children's needs are often very different from adults’. We know that the hospitalization of a child can be extremely distressing for parents. That is why we take an inclusive approach which fully recognizes the needs of the patient as well as his or her wider family. 

Patient and Family-Centered Care 

Our patient-centered care is demonstrated by our specialist physicians who will attend to your child with a tremendous amount of professional expertise. A dedicated nursing team is subsequently assigned to your child, when appropriate, for ongoing treatment. Individual rooms are offered for parents to stay overnight if needed.

Quality and Safety

In addition to the relevant training and qualifications you would expect from the healthcare professionals we employ, a full quality care management system is run in the hospital. Constantly reviewing our procedures and practices helps to maintain the highest levels of healthcare throughout our entire operation.

Honors and Awards

The American Academy of Pediatrics has nominated Martha Children's Hospital for its clinical trial programs on a number of occasions. The Children's Hospital Association has named our facility as the Best Children's Hospital in the country twice since 2010.

Building Update

You might have noticed some construction work going on at our hospital in recent months. This has not impacted our ability to deliver high-quality healthcare services to children. However, it has meant that we've needed to move some of our treatment rooms. The building work is due to end in June 2018 which will leave us better placed than ever to care for even more sick children.

No hospital runs on its own and Martha Children's Hospital isn't any different. Thanks to our dedicated leadership team, we are incredibly well-placed to offer excellent healthcare services and pediatrics now and in the future.

Charlie Pratt

Physician-in-chief
Mustang is our most senior doctor. He has worked in pediatrics for over 25 years and knows every aspect of his field both from a healthcare and an administrative point of view.

Darius Voss

Director
Darius provides leadership for the organization and ensures that what we are doing now is fit for the demands of modern healthcare in coming years. He is responsible for the strategic decision making at the hospital.

Monica Scott

Executive Director,
Manica runs the hospital on a day-by-day basis. She is responsible for making sure that the right people are available to treat your child at a time that suits you.

News

Martha Children's Hospital Expands

Development plans for Martha Children's Hospital were finally signed-off on in December 2017 which will allow for expansion into the empty building next door. An enhanced radiology facility will be the centerpiece of the newly created area along with a fresh suite of consultation rooms. Work is expected to begin connecting the two structures in February 2018 with minimal disruption to the current services on offer.
